Welcome to HappyKids! In this class, we learn Letter Matching. This is an important skill that will help you learn to read and write. We use a lot of different materials to help us learn this skill, including books, flashcards, and games.
In HappyKids, children are taught the basic skills of how to write letters. This includes
learning how to hold a pencil, how to form each letter, and how to connect letters together
to make words. Teachers will often use various activities and games to help children learn
these skills in a fun and engaging way.
One common activity is having the children
trace letters on paper. This helps them to get a feel for the proper letter formation.
Another popular activity is playing letter matching games, where children must match the
correct letter with its corresponding sound. By the end of HappyKids, most children will
have a good understanding of how to write letters and will be able to start writing simple
words on their own.
Writing sentences is the first of many steps to setting your child up for success in school.
Children who can write and express thoughts well in basic sentences will be better able to
develop cohesive paragraphs and multi-paragraph writing pieces down the line.
In
this class your student will have fun and focus on 4 main components of sentence
